Childcare Is Back!
Thanks to Ethan and Claudia Kallesen, Trinity is thrilled to offer childcare for infants through age 4 during Sunday morning worship (8:30am-12:30pm). Childcare will be held in the basement of the church and will begin on March 6. Questions? Contact the church office.
Saturday Marathon
Please be advised that a marathon is being held in downtown Orlando on Saturday, March 5, from 4am until 2pm. While we anticipate that traffic will be back to normal by our evening services, please be aware that traffic or parking may be a little difficult on Saturday. Please use extra caution as you drive into the city. For more information about what roads will be closed for the race, please see the link below.
A Message from Pastor Doug Regarding the Town Hall Meeting
Our Town Hall meeting last week was attended by 45 people. The Ministry teams were introduced and we exchanged ideas relating to each of the different areas. I (Doug) praise the Almighty for His working in the life and ministry of Trinity Lutheran Church and School. Below are a few updates:
  • All information from the meeting sheets and notes has been entered into a Google document that has been sent to all the Ministry Team Leaders for consideration, prioritization, and implementation. This document can easily be edited and updated.
  • Meetings will be established in March for Ministry Team Leaders to discuss next steps.
  • Communication with TLC Staff, Leadership Council, and Congregation will occur as plans are developed and unfold.
  • Trinity's website will list these teams with pictures and contact information for congregational members to contact and connect with the various leaders.
  • Please pray for each of the Ministry Team leaders, for provision of Youth/Young Adult leaders, and for clear direction as we move forward in each of these areas:
  • Stewardship
  • Properties
  • Education
  • Youth/Young Adult
  • Fellowship/Outreach
  • Human Care
  • Worship
Family Fun Night
Trinity's next Family Fun Night will be held on March 11 from 6:30pm-8:30pm. All ages from young to old are welcome to join in on some fun and games, whether board games or card games. The main event for this evening is a game of bingo with prizes for the winner(s). A dinner of pizza will be provided and a free will offering taken to help with future dinners. Questions? Contact the church office.
Easter Crosses
We are now in the Lenten season and Easter is just around the corner, so it is time to find these yard signs and get them out in your yard! Trinity will have a very limited number of these signs available this week in the narthex on a first come, first serve basis. For more information on how this started or to order a cross for yourself, visit https://eastercross.org/

LWML Quilters Update
LWML Quilters are thankful for all the donated material, thread, and crochet cotton which have made it possible to complete our quilts without cost. Over the past 8 years, our group of quilters has gone from 14 members to 6.

We are welcoming any and all Trinity members to join us. The requirements to join are simple: the ability to use a needle and thread and to tie knots.

Meetings are held twice a month from 9:30am-12:30pm the first and third Wednesdays of each month on the second floor of the Magnolia Street Building. Please contact Mary Lou Evanchyk at 407-491-4452 if you have questions or are interested in joining.
