Trinity family, please come help with some major jobs that need to be done!  (Clean air vents in Fellowship Hall, replace air filters, repaint lines in Parking lot, fix hole in parking lot, hang signs, pruning-weeding, & more).  Bring tools, vacuum cleaners, scrub brushes, etc.  Thank You!  We appreciate our volunteers!  Lunch provided.

Construction update 10/30/14

The Trinity TaskForce hopes you've been keeping up with the progress on the building project at www.livestream.com/trinityconstruction. Doster Construction is on schedule and this week the steel is being installed that will support the second floor and roof. Soon the decking work will begin. Modern House Movers is about finished with the foundation and stem wall for the historic white house and it should be in its permanent position within a week. Then, the foundation work on the other two houses will follow. The TaskForce will be meeting next week to discuss how the replacement of the gym roof, floor and interior painting will fit best into the Doster construction schedule without interfering with progress on the new building.

Trinity Shares Christmas

The Christmas tree up and this year we will make sure that there are ornaments on the tree at every service!  This is the 7th year Trinity has shared the Christmas Gospel with children.  Once again we partner with Angel Tree Ministries to help incarcerated parents provide Christmas gifts to their children and food to the children’s caregivers. Each angel ornament will contain a gift, food, or donation request. Please take one or more ornaments and return the requested item (unwrapped, please) with the ornament by November 30.

This year we are assigned 20 children in our neighborhood.  We have several very short-term volunteer opportunities to help make this program a success. If you can make a few initial phone calls to the caregiver and verify the type of gift to deliver on behalf of mom or dad; or if you can sort food items for the meal Trinity traditional supplies if desired; or if you can drive and deliver gifts and groceries to one or two families; or if you would like to help in any other way, or have any questions about Trinity Shares Christmas, please contact Glenda Frazier at whitemice@bellsouth.net.

“Lord, teach us to pray”....for our children

Jesus’ disciples asked for help with prayer because they saw a difference between their ritual prayers and the relationship-building conversation Jesus had with God our Father.  Let’s turn our focus from “me” to “We” and pray for our school.  Each day set aside one minute to stop and prayer for safety, health, and peace for our children and teachers.  www.momsinprayer.org. Receive a short prayer every day for your child and school!!
