Choice Dollars are part of Thrivent Choice®. Chick Flicks - Dinner & a Movie
If you live near or don’t mind driving to Ocoee/Winter Garden, then join the women’s group of friends and Trinity family members who gather every third Friday for a movie, themed dinner, and Bible talk. This month, on March 21, we will meet at Natalie Kaufmann’s home for a March Madness flick: Hoosiers. The film’s theme is redemption, so timely for Lent, and stars Gene Hackman. What you bring for pot-luck dining depends on your birthday season: Summer = Main Dish, Spring = Side dish, Winter = Dessert, and Fall = Drinks. Contact Karen at 407-656-4202 or facebook page: Trinity Women of West Orange.
Looking for Purple LIPS
It’s not because you are cold or because you had a purple popsicle. No, the purple LIPS of Trinity are every woman 18-40 - Ladies In Purple who Serve. This is the younger side of Lutheran Women in Mission (LWML). This group is currently designed to be a service giving group that will have fun in the fellowship and friendship that is bound to occur. If you are single, single with children, married, or married with children you are part of this group and so very welcome. There are no regular meetings or monetary obligations. You simply get together 5-6 times a year for a few hours, work on a project, and have fun.
The next servantfest is in April, but when!? That is YOUR decision. When would you like to prepare and sell barbeque meals to raise funds for Redeeming Life Maternity Home? This is a Lutheran maternity home for women who choose life, but have no home that welcomes them because of that decision. Contact Jamie at lipsofeastorlando@gmail.com with an April date that works for you.

Food on the Fifth
It’s another month with 5 Sundays. Trinity members and friends choose every fifth Sunday as a date to intentionally share some of God’s material gifts. This month of March, we bring canned and boxed food items for the Orange County Public Schools homeless children. It’s certainly okay to share food from your home pantry, but please MAKE SURE THE FOOD ISN’T EXPIRED! Since Lake Eola Publix provides our collection grocery cart, we shamelessly encourage you to take advantage of the BYGO deals Publix offers. One for you, one for a homeless or needy family. Saturday evening worship service on March 29 and for all three worship services on March 30, the grocery cart will be in the Narthex.

Taste of Compassion

Mark your calendars for Tuesday evening, April 8 beginning at 6:00 p.m. The best chefs and restaurants in Orlando prepare their wonderful food concoctions just for you. Tickets are on sale now.
Compassion Corner is a shared ministry of Trinity and other churches throughout the greater Orlando area, and this yummy taste event is it’s primary fund raiser. Compassion Corner is a relationship building ministry, not a hand-out service agency. Trinity is so blessed to have a facility that fills the need for a safe and welcoming respite center for the homeless men and women in our neighborhood. Pastor Moore and Deaconess Liz regularly teach Bible classes and find the Word of God is hungrily digested. Every day begins with Bible study and prayer, for only God’s Word can truly shine hope in the darkness.
