Pastor Doug is Back
Contrary to our misprint last week, Pastor Doug did not plan to take a six week vacation, and will be back with us in worship this weekend! Welcome back!

Filled Baby Bottles are due back this weekend!
THANK YOU for your support of Redeeming Life!  The Baby Bottle Fundraising Campaign for Redeeming Life Maternity Home is a celebration of life, where Trinity members have the opportunity to partner with Redeeming Life Maternity Home as they reach out to pregnant women in crisis.  Redeeming Life provides critical services to expectant mothers and their unborn children by giving them hope and an opportunity for a bright future.  The maternity home and new transitional home provide residents, some of whom believe that their only option is abortion, a safe, nurturing, Christ-centered home. At Redeeming Life they experience, many for the first time, what it means to love and to be loved in Christ, while learning to support themselves and their child. Thank you!!

Operation Barnabas
The Operation Barnabas ministry to veterans, especially those in our Trinity family, will have its first meeting on Thursday, June 21st in the first loggia classroom at 7pm. We will discuss the ministry in more detail, discuss ideas for upcoming initiatives, and start organizing the structure. TWENTY THREE people have already signed up to serve in this new ministry opportunity at Trinity! If you have an interest in being involved, but did not have an opportunity to sign up yet, you are welcome to attend!
Operation Barnabas is a LCMS ministry to support active and inactive veterans. The ministry was started in 2007 by the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. Remember, this is not just veterans serving veterans, it is Trinity family serving veterans.

Thank You to the Make A More Joyful Noise! Choir
Thank you to those that joined us in the choir loft for Make A More Joyful Noise! Sunday. The music sounded absolutely beautiful and it was fun to fill almost every seat in the choir loft as we sang joyfully for the service.

Members joining us for MAMJN included Bob Meyer, David Wilkosz, Doug Wiley, Gail Wilkosz, Janine Delehunt, Jennifer Castillo, Joyce Phillips, Julia Malenke, Kevin Brockberg, Liz Bradley, MaryLou Evanchyk, Rene Castillo, Sheila Mathews and Susan Brockberg.
Parish Choir members singing included Alissa Beier, Cathy Andrews, Connie Sobol, Diann Grover, Eva Newshutz, Gladys Dittmer, Glenda Frazier, Janice Glanders, Omar Dittmer, Paul Soost, Peggy Trapp, Robert Trapp, Tim Norris and Wendy Havens.

Thanks to all who participated, and to those that considered participating. We'll have additional opportunities to join us next choir season, and of course, you're always welcome to join us any Sunday.

The Parish Choir is taking a short summer break, but will be back to sing a patriotic hymn for the 11am service on July 1, as well as a special blessing for Trinity's Comfort Dog ministry during the Passing of the Vest ceremony during that service. All are welcome to join us! Parish Choir will resume in late August/early September.

OWLS Fellowship
Let's meet for lunch this month on Friday, June 29th at Brick and Fire located at 1621 S. Orange Ave., Orlando, FL. Please call the Gordons at 407-897-1418 or e-mail robert.w.gordon@hotmail.com to confirm if you will be able to attend. Looking forward to seeing you there!

Summer Sunday School Passport Adventures
Check the Narthex (lobby area of Sanctuary) for your child's Summer Sunday School Passport Adventure where each weekend, you can pick up your booklet, complete the learning activity during worship, and receive a stamp at the end of the service from the ushers in the narthex.  Children can earn prizes for their stamps which will be awarded at the Fall "Rally Day Sunday" after the 2018-2019 school year begins (date TBA). These passport booklets will hopefully encourage our families to worship together while giving the children something to do to help focus their attention on the worship service. If your family visits another church on vacation, please bring in the church bulletin and your child will receive a stamp for that Sunday.

Yoga atTrinity
You're welcome to join us on the first and third Mondays of each month at 7pm in Fellowship Hall. Email Beth @ baschu4@bellsouth.net  to confirm you're coming. Class starts at 7, please arrive by 6:50pm. Thank you! Bring With You : A Yoga mat (and block if you have), $5, Comfy clothes, smile and enthusiasm!

Box Tops
Please remember to cut those box tops and bring them to church during the summer  months. We would love to get a jump start for the 2018/2019 school year!

Urgent Prayer Requests
If you have an urgent prayer request that can't wait until you fill out a yellow prayer card during worship, please submit it via email to Pray@TrinityDowntown.com.  While submitting a yellow card during worship is still the preferred way to share prayer requests, sometimes a prayer need can't wait until Sunday.  Your prayer request (first name and basic details of the prayer requested) will be shared with a team of committed weekday prayer warriors and will also be added to Trinity's regular printed prayer list for the congregation.  All prayers are kept on the printed list for a period of three weeks, so please resubmit long term prayer needs regularly so that they stay on the printed list. Thank you.
