Lent at Trinity has been a blessed time to prepare for the celebration of Easter.  Our classrooms have done some wonderful things with students teaching them about the season of the church year and especially sharing the passion story of Jesus.  Every classroom across campus participated in some way, all the way down to our smallest students.

Many of the classrooms covered up normal sections of walls and bulletin boards with purple or black paper and created displays to encourage students to observe lent.  Some teachers have been creating Easter displays behind them to be revealed next week when students return.  More on that soon!

Classrooms we also assigned various types of crosses to depict on banners that have been hanging in the sanctuary.  Students had the chance to learn about how and where these crosses are used throughout the world.  The crosses were taken down on Maundy Thursday along with the rest of the decorative features in the sanctuary in preparation for Good Friday.

God bless you this weekend and thanks be to God for our students, teachers, and staff at Trinity Lutheran School!
