On Sunday, October 12, Trinity families, both church and school, celebrated getting healthy “on the run” at Trinity’s GROWTH Family Night. Improving our health in body, soul, and mind, parents and children alike discovered ways to be active in between commercial breaks and while cooking, how to make a delicious no-dirty-dish dinner, and how to comfortably share intimate thoughts about faith, God, and his creations with each other.
So far this year, we have enjoyed many experienced professionals who have shared fun ways to be healthy as a family. Among those who have joined us are:
- Rich Poole, Green Coat Catering
- Carmen Ramiz, Pretzel Dippity
- Emma Schulte, YMCA
- Megan Miessler, Lutheran Counseling Services
- Mary Jo Hoard, Lutheran Counseling Services
- Deaconess Liz Borth, Trinity Lutheran Church
- Mary Beth Brink, Trinity Lutheran Church
Please join us on November 12 as we celebrate our final GROWTH Family Night of 2014 by preparing our hearts, minds, and bodies for the holidays to come. We will be making pumpkin soup, decorating cookies, dancing, and much more! The event runs from 5:30 to 7:30 and is FREE. Please RSVP for the event by completing the form found here. We look forward to seeing you next month!
